Surprise Surprise it's Morcilla Here!

all right chuck.

Good afternoon Qualatistas. Welcome to Friday & welcome to the QW newsletter. A new menu to be digested, wines to be ingested, the limits of punnery tested. No comment on sunny weather, patio pounders or changes of the season. FFSake News. Cucumbers, zucchini & asparagus are on the menu, you do the math.

Pulignese barattiere cucumbers are meloni-esque but with better politics. Segmented and dressed in a chilli vinegar with a dollop of mascarpone to blanket, enshroud, cloak, veil, mantle that heat. All yays, no neighs. Clip-clop, tip-top. Thick, juicy spears of green asparagus are doused in pepper sauce. Cream & cognac, black & white Sarawak and a lorra lorra shallots combine. Au poivre, here art though.

Hand-dived Scottish scallops baked in Café de Paris butter are a blind date gone extremely well whilst heads & spines of turbot offer a macabre friends reunited. Steaks of the Kingfish are roasted and served with zucchini trifolati, a shallow fry, high reward preparation, because your gourdous. Iberico pork necks are too good not to get down your Gregory, accompanied by chickpeas, a mojo verde, punchy with coriander & lime and pan fried morcilla, black pud.

Our 2 or 3 course set lunch is available Tuesday to Saturday from midday, priced at £29 or £35. Details to follow but there is a rather excellent chicken leg tagine involved.

Looking forward to seeing you all soon.

Marcos, Nick & the Team.
