Thriller in Manzanilla

Welcome to the week at Quality Wines!

The last of our run of set menus before returning to an a la carte from next Tuesday. This week, Nick & the team in the kitchen were inspired by the Iberian peninsula. We start with gildas, bread and, braised leeks with a robust romeso & marcona almonds. For your main Manzanilla sherry infused pork belly with Pardina lentils, spinach, garlicky aioli & the thrust of harissa. Tarta de Santiago the pilgrims cake, for something sweet to finish.

Also available is a return of our fried black truffle sandwich as a supplement this week. A slice of decadence to end what can be a an austere month, one hears. There is butter involved.

At lunch on Tuesday to Friday a plate of tagliolini with ‘nduja, tomato & ricotta salata is available with a glass of house wine, beer or soft for the rather reasonable £15.

We always have vegetarian versions or alternatives of the dishes above available, fear not.

Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
